Worm Crusader wants to put a worm bin into
everyone's home and work. We need your help in
accomplishing our mission.
Take Your Worm Bin To Work on Friday May 1st
and be a part of a history making event. Gather up
your co-workers trash and feed it to your worms
(with in reason of course, don't want to teach the
littles to be eh pigs) The purpose is to shed light to
folks how they could make a big impact by taking
"trash" and turning it into a valuable resource-
compost. Not to mention reducing a burden our
landfills.
It's about getting people to think. It's about
steering the collective ship to being self
sustaining- Our Trash - goes to compost, then
goes to plants, that feed us, so we can shop, and
we buy stuff that we throw away...... the cycle of
life. ;>)

So, let's all go out and collect all kinds of organic waste that would normally
go to the landfill and make it into something useful. Let's make a Friday
workday have a little more pizazz by bringing a few thousand of your
hardworking little buddies to the office and show your boss how productive
you can be.
Who knows what could happen? Let's just go out there and get some trash.
We can weigh it and report in how much we collect and save from the landfill.
Maybe we can create some synergy that brings us just a step closer....
Join Us in taking your bin to work on Friday May 1, 2009. Then weigh your
booty and report to us. Be sure to tell your friends and family and get them
involved and lets try to collectively reduce the landfill waste by 3 tons. For you
metric folks, that's about 2700 Kilograms (at least I hope thats about right-
1kg = 2.2 pounds, right? So 3 tons is 6000 pounds and divide that by 2.2
pounds for a total of 2727). Is that number too low for Virginia? US?
